Saying Takbir on the Days of Eid
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to go out during the two feasts and raise his voice while pronouncing the tahlîl (saying 'Lâ ilâha illallâh') and the takbîr (saying 'Allahu akbar'); however, the following has been mentioned regarding his Companions (رضي الله عنهم): "Allah is The Greatest, Allah is The Greatest, and all praise is for Allah."
Allâhu akbar. Allâhu akbar. Wa li-llâhi-l-hamd.
This is a saying of Ibn Mas'ûd.
