Eid Prayer Time at Masjid Emaan

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

We are pleased to announce that the Eid prayer will be held on Friday morning, June 6, 2025, at 8:30am sharp. Ladies' prayer room will also be available for sisters to pray Salat al-Eid. May Allah (SWT) accept all our good deeds. We look forward to seeing you all!

Jummah Prayer on Eid Day

This year, Eid falls on a Friday, and as such, those who attend the Eid prayer are not required to attend Jummah prayer, based on an authentic hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):

“Two Eids have coincided on this day of yours. Whoever wishes, it will suffice him in place of Jummah, but we will still pray Jummah.”
(Abu Dawood – authentic)

Masjid Emaan will hold Jummah prayer as normal for those who would still like to attend.

Eid Community Celebration After Prayer

Following the Eid khutbah at 9:00am, Masjid Emaan invites the whole community to stay and join us for a community Eid celebration.

As these are days of joy, eating and drinking, we encourage everyone to bring a small dish of sweet or savoury food and some tea to share. Let’s come together as one community to enjoy each other’s company and celebrate this special occasion.

We ask Allah to bless our gathering and accept all our good deeds.
